The Oklahoma Railway Museum (reporting mark OKRX) is a railroad museum located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Location
The museum is located at 3400 Northeast Grand Boulevard and is situated in a former railroad depot.
History
Museum co-founder Jim Murray Jr. conceived the idea for a railway museum located in Oklahoma City during the 1990s. He envision the museum would be located in a vacant lot in the northeast section of the city.
Murray and his partners began acquiring land, as well as a railroad track, surrounding 400 NE Grand Blvd. beginning in 1997. The Oklahoma Railway Museum opened to the public at that location in 2002. In 2003, a the first railroad depot was moved from Oakwood, Oklahoma, to the museum grounds for display. A track was also installed to allow locomotives to run.
Operations
The museum operates working diesel locomotives and has a full assortment of railcars. The museum does children's birthday parties in cabooses and hosts a "Day Out with Thomas".

Multiple diesel and 1 steam locomotive. Passenger, maintenance of way, and freight equipment from many different roads.
